Overview

Hunter Engineering Company is a global leader in the development and manufacture of automotive service equipment. Our computer based products set the standard in the industry. We offer an excellent health and benefit package, along with an exceptional drug-free working environment. We are currently seeking a full-time, first and second shift Assembler for our Durant, MS facility.

1st Shift-7am to 3:30pm 

2nd Shift-3:30pm to 12:00pm

 

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Observes and follows all safety rules.
  • Manually set tools and punches as specified by setup sheets, measure parts according to prints.
  • Observe machine operation on machine.
  • CNC programing required to set machine up, including but not limited to changing specifications and trouble shooting.
  • Must work cohesively with machine operators, maintenance and others.
  • Maintain work area to sustain a clean and orderly environment.
  • May train other operators.
  • Inspect your own parts. Responsible for keeping machine and area clean.

 

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and experience:

  • High school diploma or GED is required and 3 months of related experience and/or training.
  • Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) of Silver or higher required.

Must be able to operate material handling equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, motorized pallet jacks or manual pallet jacks.
