    Hunter Engineering Company is a world leader in automotive service equipment, offering state-of-the-art wheel alignment systems, wheel balancers, lift racks and more. Hunter equipment is approved and used by vehicle manufacturers, automobile and truck dealers, tire dealers and automotive service facilities around the world. We are currently seeking a Facilities Director/Manager.

    Responsibilities

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    1. Facilities / Building Maintenance:
    Assume full responsibility for the management and maintenance of multiple facilities
    Coordinate and manage all construction project related activities including, facility office design, space planning, furniture purchasing, building expansion
    Oversee Facility Security including alarm systems and employee card access

     

    2. General Cleaning – Offices/Warehouses:
    Evaluate, modify, implement, and manage existing office cleaning activity
    Manage carpet, window, floor waxing, etc. cleaning schedules
    Look for improved methods to save time and money

     

    3. Grounds Maintenance:
    Manage all landscaping projects and related grounds maintenance projects
    Grounds maintenance including lawn care, tree trimming, mulching, etc.

     

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED:
    Bachelor's degree (Engineering is preferred)

     

    QUALIFICATION ANS EXPERIENCE:
    • Project management experience including new construction projects and remodeling
    • Acquiring and directing general contractors and selection of quality sub-contractors, maintaining schedule targets and cost control
    • Facility Management experience required 5-10 years
    • Computer skills preferred: Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, AutoCAD
    • HVAC mechanical and system controls knowledge
    • Security systems with CCTV for campus environment
    • High level of mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills
    • Landscaping/Ground Maintenance experience
    • Proactive approach with ability to effectively prioritize, communicate status and complete projects in a timely fashion
