    Hunter Engineering Company, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of computer-based automotive service equipment, is seeking a Customer Service Assistant. Founded in 1946, Hunter has a history of product ingenuity and growth and has been a worldwide market leader for decades. Our computer-based products set the quality and technological standard in the industry. Hunter Engineering Company offers state-of-the-art automotive service equipment such as wheel alignment systems, wheel balancers, tire changers, lift racks, and brake testers.

    Our customer service team members are responsible for supporting our independent Sales and Service Representatives as well as our Authorized Distributors. We process complex equipment orders that require a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. We provide assistance to our field team to resolve order issues and customer satisfaction concerns. Our call center has a low volume of calls with a standard Monday through Friday shift with no evenings or weekends.  Shift flexibility may be available to accommodate personal schedules.

    Responsibilities

    • This position requires a reliable individual that can work independently and has the general skills needed to adapt to a wide variety of tasks.
    • Requires excellent written and verbal communications skills.
    • Must be highly organized and proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel).

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent. 
    • Minimum 6 months previous office experience preferred.  
    • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred, but not required.
    • AS400 experience preferred, but not required.
