We are in search of an enthusiastic and self­ motivated Junior or higher to work with Fixture design and assembly to support metal fabrication, CNC programming, capital equipment investigation.

    Responsibilities

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Fixture assembly
    • Design fixturing as need to support welding, machining, and assembly processes
    • Generating bills of materials (BOM) for fixture projects
    • Producing fixture drawing packets for manufacture
    • Selecting and ordering tooling components
    • Investigate capital equipment
    • Offline programming of CNC press brakes, laser cutters, machining centers
    • Process engineering change orders to update programs, fixturing, and manufacturing processes
    • Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Minimum 2.5 GPA
    • 3D solid modeling experience, Pro/E preferred
    • Working knowledge for MS Excel, AutoCAD
    • Working knowledge of machining and metal fabrication processes

    EDUCATIONAL LEVEL REQUIRED:

    Currently enrolled at the level of Junior or higher as a Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering student at an ABET accredited program.
