    Hunter Engineering Company is a global leader in the development and manufacturing of computer based automotive service equipment. We are in search of an enthusiastic and self­ motivated Junior or higher to support assembly operations through time and motion studies, workflow analysis, optimization of manufacturing processes, work instruction documentation.

    Responsibilities

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Improve product flow using Kaizen events, plant rearrangement, assembly cell design, etc.
    • Verify production rates through use of time trials
    • Create and maintain work instructions for process improvements and engineering changes
    • Plant layout drawing maintenance
    • Identify improvement opportunities and generate possible solutions for all areas of the manufacturing process
    • Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Minimum 2.5 GPA
    • General time and motion studies knowledge
    • Proficient with AutoCAD 2D drafting
    • Working knowledge for MS Excel, PowerPoint

    EDUCATIONAL LEVEL REQUIRED:

    Currently enrolled at the level of Junior or higher as an Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering student at an ABET accredited program.
