We offer an excellent health and benefit package, along with an exceptional drug-free working environment. We are currently seeking a full-time Material Clerk for our Raymond, MS facility (3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.)

     

    Responsibilities

    MyMDES: View Opening

    Position will be responsible for receiving, storing and distributing material, tools, equipment and products within establishment. 

     

     

    Requirements:

    Receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the metal fab plant.

     

    • Initiates purchase requisitions for materials and supplies
    • Verifies material received against requisition, shipping notices or invoices to determine irregularities.
    • Completes records concerned with quantity cost and type of material received, stored and issued in plant.
    • Uses computer to enter records and prepares and maintains inventory cards
    • Reads production schedule, customer order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
    • Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
    • Opens bales, crates or other containers.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED required 
    • 1-year prior experience and High School Diploma or equivalent are required.
    • Pre-employment background checks and drug screen required 
    • Must be able to operate a forklift with at least 1-year experience doing so.
    • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Must score a Silver level or above on the Work keys National Career Readiness Certificate administered by the ACT company. 
    • Must pass a mechanical reasoning test
    • Must be computer proficient
